Last week I decided to try out the OSU Ju Jutsu club because I've grown tired of training by myself while I'm away at school. I've been to a few classes so far and have been very satisfied with the techniques and the instructor, who has been doing martial arts since 1964
It's real, un-watered down Ju Jutsu, not Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, so the system is almost identical to that of Hapkido. I can already see that many of the techniques are just stylistic variations of our own. The instructor is also very open to students bringing in previous martial arts knowledge and, for example, would not object to a KMA student applying our superior techniques and theories on striking and blocking during practice.
I think that this is going to be very beneficial for me and look forward to the rest of the year. |

Sounds good Derek, you should learn a lot from practicing with the Ju Jiutsu guys.
