Hello, I am soon moving to Columbus and am considering becoming a student at KMA. I have been researching Hap Ki Do and am wondering if KMA is affiliated with the World Hapkido Association. Thank you for your time.

Having looked more closely, I am speculating that KMA is not affiliated with the World Hapkido Association. Am I right? I do not ask to be critical, by any means, but I am curious about the lineage, especially because the FAQ page suggests that one examine an instructor's lineage before committing to a martial arts school. Can anyone give me more information about the Grandmasters who taught KMA's Masters?

We are affiliated with the Korea Hapkido Federation. Our headmaster is a student of Grandmaster Jung Tae Ik, of Kum Moo Kwan. Feel free to ask any further questions or if you want, private message me for more details. I think that upon relocating to Columbus if you were to try attending one of our classes that you will be impressed with the quality and depth of instruction. I hope this answers you questions.

Thank you for the information. (That information would be good to include on the new website.) I look forward to attending a class after I've settled in Columbus. Thanks, again.
