I hope that everyone who was eligible voted yesterday. It got me thinking, I've had a preferred candidate for the 08 presidential election since he announced his campaign in Feb. but I took this mostly out of curiousity. All candidates for both sides are included.

So here are my results. I'm not very suprised about my #2. Of course, Dennis Kucinich believes in UFO's, so I'm not sure what that says about me... (no offense Jason)
I actually haven't looked into the candidates that much since I won't be voting in the primaries (I'm an indepedent, whatever that means), so I am basically waiting to choose between two people. Also, 3 of my people aren't even running! What's the point of that!
Did you notice that Stephen Colbert is on the list! (well, he's #30 anyway)
1. Theoretical Ideal Candidate (100%)
2. Barack Obama (76%)
3. Dennis Kucinich (75%)
4. Christopher Dodd (68%)
5. Joseph Biden (67%)
6. Wesley Clark (not running, endorsed Clinton) (67%)
7. John Edwards (66%)
8. Alan Augustson (campaign suspended) (64%)
9. Hillary Clinton (64%)
10. Al Gore (not announced) (62%) |

I prefer to stay quiet on issues like this one, but I always study my candidate of choice "closely" and do my part on election day. |
