| Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good book on Korean History. Maybe starting prior to the three kingdoms period and going at least until the Japanese occupation. Just curious. |

I picked up a book called A New History of Korea by Ki-baik Lee. A few online resources seemed to say it was worthwhile. It looks a little dense, but I'll let you all know what I think and make it available when I'm done with it for anyone who would like to be able to provide Todd-like detail when addressing the history of Koguryo |

Gald you asked Jason!
The "Korean History Project" is an online book that gives a comprehensive, historical account of Korea. I've pecked at it over time, but I have little time to do so. What I have read has been excellent - with great links, pop ups, etc. This is a single author project. I'm not sure how you feel about reading online but hopefully it's something you enjoy. Anyway check the links below, and enjoy the reading.
first link is to the begining of the book.
